Keyed Flange Stampings
The pierce pattern in this stainless steel cup is not centered. The cup also has a non-round flange to help keep the part in position in relation to corresponding parts. Because the key on the flange must be in perfect orientation to the pattern of piercings, the press was modified to index rotation during part transfer.
