Rolled Head Stampings

Rolled heads are commonly used for eyelets, rivets and grommets. They create a smooth flange and a strong contact area away from the fastener hole. Surprisingly, the die for a rolled head piece is flat, not rounded, but the punch is shaped to form and trim the piece in one stroke.
